Orisi Lalabalavu
Orisi Lalabalavu is a UC Berkeley graduate who studied Social Welfare & Anthropology. Orisi is a First Generation Fijian American, who grew up in different parts of California but claims Sacramento as his hometown. From a young age, Orisi developed a passion for equitable healthcare and creating pathways for equal opportunities through education. His passions developed from his experiences of being a marginalized group within the American society and seeing the lack of support for those that do not have equal opportunities and access to equal opportunities to succeed. In his free time, Orisi volunteers as a mentor for his church’s youth group. Some of Orisi’s hobbies include playing/producing music, playing sports, reading books, traveling, and hanging out with friends & family.
