Biography

Edwin P. Cabigao, Ph.D., RN, is the director of clinical services at Generations Healthcare. As the director of clinical sServices, he is in charge of nursing operations of 28 skilled nursing facilities including three ALF/Memory Care Centers in California and Nevada. In addition to handling clinical operations, he is in charge of training and education and quality improvement. Also, he is responsible for clinical staff’s performance and knowledge in implementing the highest standards of care. Dr. Cabigao received his BSN magna cum laude and M.A. in Gerontology with an emphasis in Long-Term Care Administration from San Francisco State University; and Ph.D. in Healthcare Administration from Touro University. Earlier in his career, he worked in various settings (acute care hospitals, home health care, CCRC settings), but he has always carried a strong passion working in long-term care. Because of his continuous interest and passion working with the elderly, he devoted his career in long-term care administration for the last 20+ years. Dr. Cabigao typically teaches GRN 710 and GRN 725 when reassigned release time funding is available.
