Gerontology student receives Penn State fellowship

Shyuan Ching Tan (M.A., Gerontology, ’17) was accepted to Penn State's Ph.D. program in Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) with a $23,000 graduate assistantship/fellowship for each year of study. Penn State’s program has been ranked as the #5 graduate program in developmental science by U.S. News & World Report, is highly rated by the National Research Council and was ranked #1 in a recent survey of HDFS graduate programs in the United States and Canada.
