The School of Public Affairs and Civic Engagement at San Francisco State University offers two outstanding graduate programs that could be the key to unlocking your potential: the Master of Public Administration (MPA) and the Master of Arts (M.A.) in Gerontology.

Master of Public Administration (MPA)

If you aspire to address the human capital challenges facing the nation today, the MPA program is designed for you. Join us for an informational session via Zoom to discover the transformative possibilities that come with an MPA degree. Here are some highlights:

Master of Arts (M.A.) in Gerontology

Are you intrigued by the world of aging and interested in creating age-friendly communities and programs? The M.A. in Gerontology is designed to provide comprehensive and interdisciplinary knowledge of critical aging-related issues. Here's what the program offers:

  • Interdisciplinary Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of aging-related issues required in both the public and private sectors, with a focus on programs for older adults and their families.

  • Empowering Vision: Our program aims to empower students with a vision of diversity and social justice to create an age-inclusive society for people of all backgrounds and abilities through innovative solutions.
