Gerontolody alumn selected for AARP CA Planning Academy

Julie A. Ortega (M.A., Gerontology, ’21) has been accepted into the Spring ’24 cohort of the AARP CA Planning Academy. Participants in this program receive training to serve as voices for people ages 50-plus in their communities and be impactful leaders in their communities' planning efforts. Ortega is founder of Evolutionary Aging, where she offers a range of innovative services designed to cater to the evolving needs of the aging population.
