Biography
B.A. in Psychology from San Francisco State University and a Master of Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco
Kevin Hickey’s career is built on helping youth and families achieve economic mobility. Kevin approaches his work with the belief that today’s problems require leaders to drive for impact in both direct service provision and public policy. Working with nonprofit service agencies and policy advocacy groups, he currently serves as Chief Program Officer at New Door Ventures, and on the Board of Directors for the National Youth Employment Coalition. Kevin holds a B.A. in Psychology from San Francisco State University, where he teaches in the Master of Public Administration Program and in the Department of Child & Adolescent Development. Kevin also holds a Master of Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco, where he taught nonprofit management and leadership courses for fifteen years. Kevin is a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
