Academic Advising

Professional academic advisors in the college-based resource centers, the Educational Opportunity Program, and the Undergraduate Advising Center are offering academic advising services remotely.

Freshmen and Undeclared Students

All first-year freshmen and undeclared students have an assigned academic advisor in the Undergraduate Advising Center. If you are a first-year freshman or undeclared student, please contact the Undergraduate Advising Center if you have questions or need help getting connected with your advisor.

Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors

If you are a student in your second through senior year and you have a declared major, your college-based resource center is your home base for academic advising. Please view your college-based resource center’s website for specific hours, services offered, and contact information.

Faculty Advising

Faculty advisors in the academic departments can help you with specific questions related to your major and minor. Faculty also provide valuable information about internships, research, professional opportunities, and they can support your academic success! Advising for majors is provided by faculty members in the program.

Scheduling an Advising Appointment

Using Navigator you can make an academic advising appointment with a professional academic advisor in your college-based resource center, the Educational Opportunity Program, or the Undergraduate Advising Center. Please refer to our guide to scheduling an advising appointment if you need assistance. The Advising Hub can help you determine the best office to support your needs.
